ABOUT USERGENIX

UserGenix is a knowledge and publishing platform. We publish practical articles, guides, resources and tools across technology, business, leadership, AI and personal development. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including readers and contributors.

Use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.

PART 1 — TERMS FOR CONTRIBUTORS

CONTRIBUTING TO USERGENIX

By submitting content to UserGenix for publication, you agree to the following terms in full.

CONTENT OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

When your content is published on UserGenix, you grant UserGenix a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, distribute, promote, edit, adapt, translate, reproduce, publicly display, create derivative works from, sublicense and commercialise that content across all channels, including the website, email newsletters, social media, paid products, courses and any future platforms or formats.

This licence includes the right to use your content within paid products or services offered by UserGenix, and to sublicense these rights to third parties where required for platform operation or commercial purposes.

To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in the content submitted to UserGenix, including the right to object to modifications, adaptations or commercial use of your content.

You retain the right to republish your own content elsewhere, provided you credit UserGenix as the original publisher and do not misrepresent the original publication.

CONTENT REMOVAL AND ACCESS

UserGenix reserves the right to remove, modify, refuse publication of, or unpublish any content at its sole discretion, at any time, without notice or explanation.

UserGenix reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to the platform or any part of it at its sole discretion, without notice, for any reason including but not limited to breach of these terms.

EARNINGS AND REVENUE

UserGenix operates affiliate marketing, advertising, sponsored content and product sales across the platform. All revenue generated through the UserGenix platform, including but not limited to affiliate commissions, advertising revenue, sponsored content, product sales and any income arising from contributor content, belongs entirely to UserGenix.

Contributors are not entitled to any share of revenue generated from their published content, regardless of the performance, reach or commercial impact of that content. UserGenix is under no obligation to disclose earnings, revenue figures or commercial arrangements to contributors.

Viral reach, significant traffic, social sharing or any other performance outcome relating to a contributor’s article does not entitle the contributor to any financial consideration, revenue share or other compensation.

PROMOTION AND MARKETING

UserGenix will promote published content through its own channels at its sole discretion. We do not guarantee any specific level of promotion, traffic, visibility or reach for any individual piece of content.

NO EMPLOYMENT OR CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP

Contributing to UserGenix does not create an employment, contractor, agency, partnership or any other working relationship between the contributor and UserGenix. Contributors share their knowledge and expertise independently. UserGenix has no obligation to publish, retain or continue publishing any contributor’s content.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND WARRANTIES

By submitting content, you confirm and warrant that:

  • All content you submit is your own original work
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks or patents
  • Your content does not contain false, misleading or defamatory information
  • Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • You have the full right and authority to grant the licence described in these terms

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless UserGenix, its owner, officers, affiliates, partners and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Any breach of these terms by you
  • Any content you submit to UserGenix
  • Any violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
  • Any false or misleading information contained in your content

PART 2 — TERMS FOR ALL USERS

AS-IS BASIS

All content and services on UserGenix are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

All content published on UserGenix is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional, financial, legal, medical or other regulated advice. You should always seek independent professional advice before making decisions based on information found on this platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UserGenix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, any content or materials published on this platform, even if UserGenix has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
